GAME OF THE DAY: Pinoy 'Hangaroo'

pinoy-hangaroo-2_1.jpg

Now here's something both entertaining and relevant: a Pinoy version of Hangaroo, complete with election-related information. Who says anything election-related isn't fun?

For all those unfamiliar with Hangaroo, the game basically makes a player choose what letters are part of an unknown word or statement. Four incorrect guesses spell doom for the online kangaroo (which is hanged) and a more subtle "game over" for the player.

In the Filipino version of the game, the words or statements to be guessed revolve around local food, festivities, movies, and provinces. Presidential candidates and their slogans are also included and come out randomly, making the game fun and relevant at the same time. And oh, even those crappy jingles we see on TV are included.

The Pinoy version of Hangaroo was made possible by local blogger Marhgil Macuha.

Check out a few screenshots of the game below.
