To help you out of your miserable misery, we compiled a list of the most essential configuration settings, values, options, and whatnot to get your phone up and running.
Please note that since not all phones are the same, the step-by-step process isn't the same, too, so please use good old common sense when entering the following on your phone's network settings menu: Menu>Settings>Phone>Network.

If you're too lazy to manually tinker with the settings, however, you could opt to text SET to 211 and follow the instructions. It'll cost you, though, and you'll need to key in a PIN (1234).
Once you've entered the values stated above, you'll need to activate them. To do this, simply text MMS ON and 3G ON to 333.
