We love them not-so-small technological wonders called netbooks. After all, they give us the ability to surf the Web on the go. However, many of us experience some degree of pain on certain parts of our body after using the netbook for an extended time.
Here's an illustration showing the usual ways we use netbooks and where pain occurs (indicated by red dots) after extensive usage.

The image is part of a research conducted by Dave Malouf of Core77 on netbook-usage behavior and its results. Judging from it, keeping your knees up and placing your netbook on your thighs while lying down is the most "painless" way to use the netbook (see second position).
Now if we could only sneak a bed in the office...
