Microsoft's own Windows 8-based Surface tablets unveiled

Yep, the Big M was indeed cooking up something special in the form of the new Surface tablet, which comes in two main versions. Needless to say, Microsoft doesn't want to leave anything to chance that's why it went with some home cooking. Of course, 3rd-party manufacturers are still part of the mix, too, but the software giant will be banking a lot on its own slates in the battle against the iPad.
