Transformers 3: Behind the scenes of 'Dark of the Moon'

Today, the autobots and decepticons will grace the big screen as Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon  finally plays in theaters. But before this massive, metal-churning flick was put together in one big reel, the lucky folks of downtown Chicago already got an advanced behind the scenes screening as they were able to get a glimpse of the Transformers 3 shooting. Needless to say, it was one slam-bang affair complete with Hollywood superstars, high-adrenalin stunts, powerful gun action and solid explosions. Here's a preview of what you're about to witness in the big screen later...

Director Michael Bay personally captured some of the big explosions and gun battles on the shoot. Sam Witwicky (played by Shia Labeouf) and Mikaela Banes (played by Rosie Huntington –Whiteley who replaced Meagan Fox) were also seen shooting a scene with Bumblebee. Yes, that famous sunshine-yellow Transformers car is also on set. Other characters seen in the video are Robert Epps (Tyrese Gibson) and Major Lennox (Josh Duhamel). Here's another outtake of the shooting at the bottom with solid, pimped cars that will supposedly transform in the movie. Explosions and daredevil stunts are jaw dropping too...

These behind the scenes vids will excite the crap out of you. See you at the movies! For more  juicy exclusives, see the behind the scenes photos of the metal-crunching flick.
