Tell your boss that going to the mall during office hours can be productive. Look at us. If we hadn’t done that, we wouldn’t have met the PLDT TelPad in person. You know, that landline-tablet hybrid that we sort of stood up at its launch last month because we got sick.
If we didn’t know any better, we’d have thought that it was the Cherry Mobile Superion; it could pass off as the CM tablet phone’s doppelganger – if you don’t look closely. (You see, the tablet is in landscape mode by default. The orientation of the soft touch buttons indicates so.) The screen is not as responsive as the Superion, however. We’d like to think that it’s just because the TelPad on display is an engineering unit. The salespeople said that the final products might be delivered to those who made reservations 3rd or 4th week of this month.

We have to warn you that these are Blair Witch Project-like videos. The PLDT guys have this “don’t take photos and videos of the PLDT TelPad or we’re going to let you watch Justin Bieber’s most viewed video till kingdom come” rule. So what’s a good citizen to do? Break the rule without letting them know.
Enjoy.
