80% of females in America play their games on a Nintendo Wii

Based on a report done by Nintendo of America Research, a vast majority of female console players in the US of A do their gaming on a Wii. The report shows the percentage of male gamers compared to their female counterparts, and as expected, guys outnumber girls two to one (33 million to 11 million). What's a bit surprising, though, is the overwhelming percentage of girls playing Nintendo Wii (80%) compared to those who prefer Xbox 360 (11%) and PS3 (9%).
