Apple Aperture 3 launched, priced at P10,290

Here's one for photographers and graphic artists. Apple Inc. has launched the new Aperture 3 photo editing and management software and it's available today for a cool P10,290.
The new version brings new innovations to the Aperture fold such as the ability to detect faces and places (via GPS logs), and even create professional-looking slideshows. A new "brush" tool also allows for meticulous exposure and color correction without the need for a steady hand, we kid you not.

Another interesting thing is that Aperture 3 is a 64-bit program. That means that if you're running Snow Leopard on a multi-core PC, you can expect better, faster performance. Otherwise, it'll still run on Leopard but it won't be as zippy.
There are over 200 new features in Aperture 3, (217 to be exact) and they all promise the easiest photo editing experience ever. And as expected from Apple, it's cheaper to upgrade than to install a fresh copy. Existing Aperture 1 or 2 users will be able to buy an upgrade pack for nearly half the price at P5,190.
