'Back to the Future' DeLorean scale models selling for P700
Back to the Future fans, rejoice! Warehouse center Pricesmart is selling original 1:24 scale models of the classic "Outtatime" DeLoreans by Welly for P700 apiece.
There are three models to choose from: the original 1985 version from the first movie, the Mr. Fusion 2015 version (no hover conversion, sadly) from the second movie, and the white-wall tire 1885 version from the third movie.
All three sport the same basic chassis, but the subtle differences in the accessories make them look like different toys.
The details are good enough for a toy its size. The gull-wing doors open upwards, revealing the time circuits and the flux capacitor (can't keep up? watch the movie). Unfortunately, the hood doesn't open and the front tires don't turn, boo.
The only thing more awesome would be if they sold a remote-controlled scale model like in the movie. Make it happen, Universal. Make it happen!
