CES 2010: Transparent AMOLED monitor lets you peek into the future

Like it or not, Hollywood movies like Avatar and Minority Report are shaping our expectations of the future. This proof-of-concept AMOLED screen makes us giddy of what to expect in the coming years.
Details are scant, but as you can see from the photos, resolution and color reproduction look okay. In fact, we think it could rival current LCD screens even if it weren't transparent.
Samsung has been developing AMOLED screens for a while now, and they're bringing in their laptops this year. Put two and two together, folks...
