Facebook celebrates 6th birthday with redesigned home page

My, time flies when you're having fun. Our beloved social-networking site Facebook just turned six, and it got a perfect birthday present: the fact that it passed the 400-million-user mark. This is quite impressive since it was only two months ago that Facebook users reached 350 million. Fifty million users in two months? Now that's definitely something to be jubilant about.
Our friends from FB are celebrating all the good things that came their way with a redesigned home page that will go live in 80 million Facebook users' accounts right about now. The new page is said to be more organized and will make search and messaging easier and faster. That's something to look forward to, especially for us Pinoys. Hey, the Philippines is second to Indonesia in terms of Facebook user numbers, remember?
Check out two screenshots of the new home page below.

Your baby has come a long way, Mr. Mark Zuckerberg. Here's to having more of Facebook in the years to come.
