Waiting for the iPhone 5 (or whatever it will be called)? Well, according to a Foxconn recruiter, the next version of Apple 's wonder handset will be coming in June. Last time we checked, that's just a couple of months away!
We've been seeing and reading many iPhone 5 rumors, but this one's pretty intriguing since it's supposedly coming from an employee of Foxconn, one of Apple's chief manufacturing arms. In an interview with TV Tokyo , the source said they're looking for 18,000 employees for the next-generation iPhone and that it will be out in June. If ever this proves to be true then Apple will be back to its "normal" schedule in introducing a new iPhone in the middle of the year. If you recall, the latest version came out October of last year, breaking the hopes of patrons who wanted to see the iPhone 5, at least temporarily.
So there, another iPhone 5 rumor to whet our gadget appetites. Makes you want to travel forward in time to the iPhone 5's unveiling to see which ones are legit, no? Of course we couldn't do that, not like this guy . We kid, we kid.
Check out the gallery below for a round-up of iPhone 5 rumors
The next iPhone will have an 8-megapixel camera
Rumor has it that the next iPhone's camera will finally break the 5-megapixel barrier. This could be a good move since we're now seeing 8 and 12-megapixel monsters on smartphones. The thing is, this tid bit was reportedly spilled by the CEO of Sony , a company that makes camera sensors for Apple. Hmm...

The next iPhone will have a bigger screen
If you like it big (ehem), then you might find it to your taste that the next iPhone could have a 4-inch screen, according to this rumor. That's quite a step up from the 3.5-inch display we have on the current iPhone. The question is, does size really matter? Maybe. Especially if we're talking about something like the Retina Display .

The next iPhone will be called iPhone 4S

The next iPhone will be slimmer
The physical form of the next iPhone is also rumored to be thinner than the current version's. That's good for us because, even in tech, thin is in. Just how slim and light will it be? We don't know but, given how good-looking the current version is, we bet it will be anorexic. However, it is also said that this change is one of the reasons why the roll-out was delayed.

The next iPhone will have a curved glass surface
Yep, a curved glass surface that's similar to the one found on the 5th-gen iPod Nano . If this is true, then it might be that the next iPhone will have a very different look from the iPhone 4. The root behind this is the fact that Steve Jobs and his cohorts were rumored to have purchased 200 - 300 glass-cutting machines.

The next iPhone will have more memory
If this rumor proves more than, well, a rumor, then we might have an iPhone that has more than 32GB of internal memory. How much storage? Try 64GB. That's a bit of good news, if ever, for media junkies since Apple isn't exactly known for slapping external storage support on their mobile devices.

The next iPhone will have a redesigned antenna
That's good, if you ask us. We still remember the infamous antennagate issue that gave Steve Jobs and many iPhone users a hell of a headache. This move is reportedly to prevent the troubles caused by the so-called "death-grip " from happening again.

The next iPhone will have a voice control feature
A screenshot (see above) showing an "Assistant" feature on the iOS have triggered rumors that the next iPhone (and other iOS devices) will have a voice control feature. To add more fuel to the fire, reports have it that Apple has acquired or made partnerships with companies specializing in such technology. Android devices have it so it would be nice to have the iPhone sport a voice control feature too, don't you think?

The next iPhone will have 4G connectivity
The next iPhone could have LTE (Long-Term Evolution) 4G connectivity according to a statement recently made by a UAE service provider. But then again, there are also reports that the device will instead have the slower HSPA+ technology with reports that Apple is having a hard time cramming 4G LTE capability into the iPhone's interior. Is 4G a must-have? Not really if you ask us (at least for us here in the Philippines) because LTE still isn't that widespread. But it will be good if the iPhone 5 will indeed have it, right?
