NEO shows off 2 notebooks, 1 netbook from its Edge line
NEO has let out two laptops and one netbook from its Edge line of ultra-portables. We guess it's their way of saying that they're not about to let the other manufacturers one-up them, especially when they've got relatively low SRPs going for them.
Leading the pack is the NEO Edge Z3240, an ultra-thin notebook that's being positioned as a traveling executive's machine. This one tips the scale at less than 1.5 kilos and is thinner than 22mm all throughout. The P45,999 notebook is outfitted with the following features:
- 13.3-inch WXGA LCD display with 16:9 aspect ratio
- Ultra-low voltage Pentium processor with 2MB of L2 cache and 3GB of system memory
- 120GB SATA hard drive
- Connectivity options like USB 2.0 and HDMI
- Mini port replicator for VGA, LAN, and additional USB ports
- Wireless connectivity through Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, and 3G/HSDPA (using a local 3G-enabled SIM card)
Next is the NEO Z3265 which packs a power punch through these features:
- 13.3-inch LCD
- Ultra-low voltage Core 2 Duo processor with 3MB of L2 cache and 2GB of system memory
- 320GB SATA hard drive
- Connectivity options like USB 2.0 and HDMI
- Wireless connectivity through Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, and 3G/HSDPA (using a local 3G-enabled SIM card)
And joining the netbook wagon is the NEO Edge Z1280. This li'l baby, which goes for P23,999, boasts the following:
- 10-inch widescreen LCD
- 6-cell battery
- Intel Atom N280
- 2GB of RAM
- 320GB hard-disk space
- Multi-format card reader
