New Ford Expedition comes with Microsoft Sync

Ford Philippines today unveiled the latest model of the Expedition at a "Business Class" launch.
The Expedition Eddie Bauer EL is the first car in the Philippines to feature Microsoft's interactive voice command software Sync. Sync allows a person to pair devices such as mobile phones and MP3 players via Bluetooth simply by speaking the preset commands.
A recent driving-simulator study conducted by Ford revealed that the hands-free system helps drivers keep their eyes on the road. Knowing how safe one can be riding inside a top-heavy American-made SUV, anything that ups the safety factor gets our thumbs up.
Sync comes pretty close to the experience Michael Knight had with K.I.T.T. Don't expect snappy comments and turbo boost, though.
