See that image above? That, dear Techies, is reportedly a proof that Apple's next-gen MacBook Pros will come packed with NVIDIA's GeForce GT 650M aka Kepler GPU.
So, what's the buzz all about? The photo actually came from the Chinese forum WeiPhone.com and, according to the poster, it is indeed the real deal. By that we mean the photos show the new 15-inch MacBook Pro's logic board. The source also says that the device will have no changes in terms of aesthetics compared to its predecessor and will sport an Ivy Bridge CPU (2.3GHz, 2.5GHz or 2.7GHz).
Another poster in the forum analyzed the images and said that the position of the GPU is the same with the one on the current MacBook Pro while the shapes and screw locations are very similar. So, does that mean this is legit? Maybe, but we're still inclined to take a grain of salt with this one especially since Apple switched to AMD graphics last year. We might know the truth very soon as Apple's WWDC 2012 event is coming right up.
