Nokia N8 units mysteriously dying on their users

Forget pee-colored spots and the death grip. Those problems pale in comparison to what we're about to tell you. Reports of Nokia N8 users complaining that their precious phones are mysteriously dying on them are trickling in. Watch the video of one of the victims below.

He's certainly not alone, proof of which can be found in Nokia's own forums, where a thread dedicated to the issue has already reached 5 pages.  Even those from countries like Malaysia, India, and Thailand have reported the problem.

Also, Eldar Murtazin, that lucky son of a gun who usually gets first dibs on all things mobile, Tweeted about the issue, saying that it's like the Nokia 5800 all over again. Recall that the first batch of the latter had defective hardware.

Nokia has yet to give an official statement, but we can already see that this sure is bad news for them, considering that the Nokia N8 is the Finns' flagship handset. A pity also because when we got to handle the phone (see the photo gallery below), we actually thought that it's one well-built device.
