The ASUS Transformer Prime has barely hit local shores and now we're hearing buzz that its possible follow-up has been spotted somewhere in the vast region called the Internet. Now we're not ready to shrug off the salt on this one but this is still pretty interesting. Take a look at the pic below.
That photo came from Taiwanese site NCCC which says that is the real deal, the next member of the Eee Pad family. It looks like a tablet (complete with rear camera and 3.5mm jack) although its dressed in a color very different from those found on ASUS tablets. Now why is it called the possible successor of the Transformer Prime? Well, a certification document from another site called QuieTek shows it has the TF300T codename. That's higher on the numeric scale than the Transformer Prime (TF201) and the original Transformer (TF101).
Of course, it could be just a discontinued specimen from ASUS' previous tablet efforts that managed to slip through the cracks. Or maybe it could be a different device altogether. What's worse is that it could also be a prank done by someone who has too much time on his/her hand. Whatever the case, we believe the Transformer Prime won't be the last of its kind and its successor will come, and you can count on us to keep you updated on this one.
