Surprise! CD-R King now has its own mobile phone!

See that phone above? That, our dear readers, is the Fastphone, CD-R King's own handset and, if you ask us, its existence is not the least bit surprising. Hey, the shop that sells (almost) everything has come up with a laptop, Android tablet and even a freakin' windmill, remember?

Now what does the device have that will entice us to put our pesos on the line for it (except, of course, the low SRP it's expected to have)? Well, not much actually. It's a really basic phone although it also has a full QWERTY keyboard, camera, 2-inch color display and dual-SIM capability. And, oh, it also has mobile TV in the mix for those who'd like to watch their soaps on the go, just don't expect much from the quality of the feed. Check out its list of specs below.

  • 2G Network: GSM 900/1800 or 850/1900
  • 2-inch TFT color display
  • QWERTY keyboard
  • VGA camera
  • Dual-Sim capability w/ dual standby
  • FM radio and torch light
  • Bluetooth
  • Built-in speaker
  • Micro-SD card expansion
  • Rechargeable lithium-ion battery
  • FM radio
  • Mobile TV tuner

The CD-R King Fastphone is now yours for only P1,380. That's really cheap, even by Cherry Mobile or MyPhone standards. We do hope, however, that the name is not, in any way, a sign of how soon you'll have to replace it since CD-R King gadgets isn't really known for longevity.
