Yep, you read that right. One of the most popular animated sitcoms to hit the boob tube might soon be hitting mobile devices everywhere as well as The Simpsons is rumored to be included in a future level of Angry Birds!
So, how did this tasty bit emerge? Well, after the release the highly successful Angry Birds Space, Rovio decided to add another level called "Fry Me To The Moon" and, with it, we're given a glimpse of what the next level after that will look like. It would've looked like just another Angry Birds stage if it weren't for the pink donut the pig in the image below is munching on, which really resembles the one Homer Simpson would frequently sink his teeth into.
Nothing's official yet so, yeah, we're obliged to take a grain of salt on this one. But what's really interesting is The Simpsons have already featured our destructive feathered friends before. Not only that, Rovio is already currently somehow connected to Fox which is the producer of the popular series and the movie Rio which, in case you didn't know, is part of the Angry Birds Rio. Rovio chief exec Peter Vesterbacka has previously said that four new Angry Birds games will be released this year so, yeah, we might really have something here. Check out the clip below.
