As it turns out, the sleek, supermodel-sexy thin Samsung Series 9 notebook also comes in at 11.6-inches. This is quite a surprise since, during Sammy's launch last week, we only got to witness 13-inch version.
The 11-incher is pretty much Samsung's answer to the MacBook Air of the same size. It has the same specs as its larger 13.3-inch sibling though the SSD (solid state drive) is smaller at 64GB. This means that the 11-inch Series 9 has better-looking innards compared to its MBA equivalent.
However, it will also be a bit more expensive than the base MBA 11-inch version (P51,990) and is priced at $1,199 or about P52,000 and we're expecting its local price to be significantly higher once it hits the Philippines.
Remember that the 13.3-inch version is priced at $1,599 (about P69,400) but the local SRP is at P79,990. But as always, we're hoping that won't be the case.
