While the Philippines was gobbling up Cherrific Androids, the rest of the world had their eyes on Microsoft. Yesterday, the planet's biggest software company launched Windows Phone 7, its latest (and what critics agree on to be the greatest) iteration of their mobile operating system.
First announced during the Mobile World Congress 2010, WP7 is everything Windows Mobile was not: fast, user-friendly, and judging from the early reviews, suprisingly zippy.
9 phones are included in the launch and they are the following:
- HTC 7 Mozart
- HTC 7 HD7
- Dell Venue Pro
- HTC 7 Surround
- Samsung Focus
- LG Quantum
- HTC 7 Pro
- LG Optimus 7
- HTC Trophy
With the exception of the Dell Venue Pro, all the phones have a good chance of making it to the Philippines because of their local presence. Check out the photos and the brief descriptions in the gallery below.
